Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14 in 1970) is an American actor, performer, writer and director. Most well-known is her being the character Tara Maclay from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson also directed her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and played the leading actress in those films. Also, she was in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children from Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson was born in Birmingham in Alabama, on the 8th of January 1977. Danielle Benson is her artist younger sister. The father of her is Jewish and her mother was born and raised in the state of Alabama. Southern Baptist Benson grew up attending a Reform synagogue in Alabama. In the years since Buffy came to an end, Benson has been in movies including The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. Her writing talents have been put to good use in Ghosts of Albion, and she also directed Drones (2010).
